Manufacturing

Forth Engineering prides itself on delivering engineering, design, manufacturing, maintenance and decommissioning excellence to processing, production and manufacturing industries across the world.

The award-winning business offers a holistic approach with solutions for complete engineering life-cycles through design; manufacture and assembly; installation, commissioning and maintenance; decommissioning; supply and project management.

Forth has already successfully designed and manufactured a range of robots used to provide solutions to the UK nuclear industry.

Forth’s wide range of robotic solutions have a range of capabilities – all tried and tested in harsh environments – all aimed at reducing the need to put people at risk.

Innovative

Forth’s robots are able to access any given location – on land, or underwater – and through pumping, cutting, digging, or holding, remove or move objects without human intervention. Fitted with state of the art cameras and lighting, they can be remotely controlled from a safe
location.

Mark Telford, Forth’s managing director, said:

All the products we manufacture can be adapted to provide a solution for any particular challenge. If anyone is facing such a challenge we would welcome them getting in touch with us to see if we can provide a solution.”

Innovative

At the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Forth used its expertise and skills to invent a disinfecting robot to help in the fight against the pandemic.

It also recently worked with partners, including EM&I, on developing the pioneering Hullguard system of protecting floating offshore installations
from corrosion without using divers which has been successfully deployed for the first time in the UK North Sea.

Forth’s Avexis robot is a previous winner of the Best Academic Collaboration Award at the Innovus Awards backed by the National Nuclear
Laboratory and The University of Manchester’s Dalton Nuclear Institute to showcase pioneering technology being used in industry.
From 3D design to a finished product, the Forth team also manufacture and assemble bespoke tools for use in a wide range of industries.

We work closely with industry leaders in a wide range of sectors to help them deliver innovative and ground-breaking solutions to complex problems.
