Next in our 25th anniversary year’s Meet the Team series, we’re heading to Barrow-in-Furness to learn more about our fantastic Operations Manager, Carl.

Carl Hallows.
Q2. Position at Forth?
Operations Manager.
Q3. Name a song that makes you happy?
Queen – A Kind of Magic (you just can’t help singing along with Freddie, especially when driving).
Q4. Favourite food/meal?
A really unhealthy mixed meat kebab with chilli sauce (apologies to any vegetarian Colleagues)!
Q5. The best thing about working at Forth?
It’s one big Team with everyone rowing together in the same direction! There’s a great sense of pride and the work is very rewarding.
Q6. A person or an event in your life that has had the most positive impact on you?
Bob Geldof and Live Aid – the impact of bringing people together has always stayed with me.
Q7. Your favourite quote?
‘To go fast, go alone, to go far you must go together’. Ancient African proverb.
Q8. Who are your dream celebrity dinner guests?
Amanda Holden, Sarah Pascoe (comedian), Paul Whitehouse, and Bob Mortimer (Gone Fishing).
Q9. Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my wife and two daughters and planning ways to escape to the pub!

I will be hated for this but yes 😊
